Very welcoming. Beautifully furnished and presented rooms. Impressive library with excellent range of videos for the children. Beautiful location. Helpful owner both with accommodation and information re surrounding area.

The photographs of the venue do not do the holiday home justice. When we arrived we were taken back by the size and grandeur of the property.

We had an absolutely perfect Easter break at The Old School. Even though the photos on the web site looked good, when we arrived the property far exceeded all our expectations. It is a fascinating place with great bookshelves to explore, a vast wood burner to huddle around and a kitchen which was a joy to cook in. We had a fantastic Easter hunt around the house and the kids encouraged us to pop in to the church next door for the Easter Sunday service. We did the family cycle around the Forest of Dean, canoeing on the River Wye, miniature golf and the hedge maze and mud flinging and swimming in the river. Just fabulous. A great location within easy easy reach of all those activities I just mentioned.

Amazing accommodation, well equipped with everything that we could have possibly have needed. A lot of thought and care has gone into this place. Ideal setting for exploring the Wye Valley.

The Old School is a beautiful property, with incredible, large reception areas for enjoying time together. The thought that has gone into the needs of guests is outstanding and attention to detail really appreciated.
